Wonder why this new painting is titled “Blues Sisters 2”? Because this beautiful pair of horses from Whitehaven Plantation in South Carolina was featured in another work by Karen Brenner. The painting below was the first work inspired by these mares, full sisters – WH Carolina Blu and WH Phanale. It is part of her Beautiful Horses of South Carolina series.
