Two Newest Camargue Paintings

The early morning sun shines in small patches along the tree-lined dirt road as the famous white horses wait calmly for les guardians (French cowboys) in the painting above, Camargue - Waiting Along the Dirt Road. I love dappled sunlight! This is my new favorite painting and really needs to be seen in person - because those cool yellow highlights are real.

Another painting that needs to be seen in person is the one pictured below - Camargue-Les Guardians Sunset Ride. With its many layers of transluscent colors, this painting changes dramatically under different lighting situations. It even looks different depending upon what angle you are viewing it from. It was impossible to photograph.

Good News! These paintings will be part of my "Galloping Horses" painting exhibit in July. Details below.
